RECENT PROJECT

The Company Recently Completed Tests on Conversion of Raw Biomass Into Fermentable Sugars and Ethanol Fuel

The company recently completed testing the new technology on effective conversion of raw lignocellulosic biomass into various products including cleaned cellulosic fiber, cellulosic sugars, advanced biofuel and others. The tests determined parameters for the overall process from beginning to end starting from raw biomass, alkaline pretreatment, cleaned fiber to enzymatic hydrolysis and cellulosic sugar, and finally ethanol fermentation. The raw biomass materials included redwood dust, sugarcane bagasse, corn stover, waste cardboard, waste newspaper, wheat and rice straw, and others.

The company owns electrolytic membrane technologies that can be operated in combination with solar power, wind turbines, and/or hydro to produce sustainable and economically viable renewable fuels and other valued products.

Now, it is possible to install economically viable energy storage of H2 and liquid fuel for renewable energy and also build fueling stations in rural agricultural areas. On short term basis, the technology could provide up to 250 MWh renewable energy storage (H2 fuel) and 1500 MWh energy storage (vehicle ethanol fuel) as an approximate estimate of maximum annual operating capacity per project site.
